Lemon water is such a simple drink with some incredible health benefits. There are variations of lemon water that when mixed adds new flavor twists, as well as, different and/or improved healing properties and health benefits. H2O is already necessary and beneficial to our entire body system and lemons are packed full of benefits. Why Warm Water?
In order for lemon water to aid digestion it has to be warm or hot but never cold. Our internal temperatures are closer to warm water than they are cool or cold water. Warm water helps the gut comfortably while cold water is more of an unpleasant shock.
Lemon water is beneficial in so many ways. Adding some lemon water to your diet can cause some pretty positive effects. Sometimes it’s super beneficial to eat some of the fresh lemon and this is because different parts of the lemon contain the different healing qualities and benefits. The fiber and pectin can’t be found in lemon water alone. If you prefer lemon water squeeze the lemons out into the water making sure some of the fruit gets in and then add the rind to the water in order to get the benefits found in the peel. You don’t have to drink it every day but if you’d try it for a week you’d notice the changes worth experiencing.
